My name is Dave King, and I am the owner of WayUP! Photos, Kentuckiana's first and only ground-based aerial photography company, which was founded in 2008.
You may have been recommended to WayUP! Photos by a colleague, seen a piece of literature containing WayUP! images, or observed one of my agents or myself working on a commission. However you found WayUP! Photos, I'm glad you're here!
You may be wondering what ground-based aerial photography is, so please allow me to briefly explain what it is that we do.
Ground-based aerial photography is a technique for acquiring photographic images from an aerial perspective using a telescoping pole, capable of reaching heights of up to 50'. A camera mounted at the top of the pole sends real-time images and/or video to a ground station via cable downlink, where it is transferred to a CD or other recordable media for your immediate, unrestricted use.
One interesting application of the WayUP! Photo system is the capturing of aerial images or video from inside structures, such as warehouses, churches, convention centers, etc.
With WayUP! Photos you are in full control of the image capturing process . The images from the camera are fed real-time to the ground station, where you may view them and direct us to make desired adjustments in angle, zoom level, mast height, etc, before your perfect image is captured.
WayUP! Photos has provided elevated indoor and outdoor photography services for a wide variety of clientel, ranging from the Corydon Indiana Historical Society, Century 21, Remax, Prudential & Schuler Bauer Real Estate Agencies, Community First Bank, and the Kentucky Derby Festival association, just to name a few.
